We’re looking for a driven Senior Brand Designer who is eager to join a creative, highly-productive and motivated team. As part of the Marketing/Brand department, you’ll be leading concepting and design for Gemnote's largest clients in the tech, beauty and media space. You’ll work closely with our sales team to create concepts for our client's marketing campaigns that require merchandise. You should feel comfortable with establishing new processes, team/client feedback and helping build a recognizable brand.

• Study design briefs and determine requirements for each project
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare mood boards, mockups and proofs to present to our clients
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters, photographers and managers to produce final designs
• Test graphics across various media
• Edit, iterate and present final designs after feedback 
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand with Gemnote and clients
• Manage individual tasks, projects and workflows for timely completion of milestones

• 5-8 years experience as brand designer in a relevant industry
• A strong portfolio of graphics, illustrations and other works
• Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Pacdora and Canva
• Excellent written/verbal communication
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
