RESPONSIBILITIES
We’re looking for a driven Brand Designer who is eager to join a creative, highly-productive and motivated team. As part of the Marketing/Brand department, you’ll be designing for Gemnote’s website, marketing/sales collateral, social media and more. In addition, you’ll work closely with our sales team to create graphics for our clients. You should feel comfortable with establishing new processes, team/client feedback and helping build a recognizable brand.
- Study design briefs and determine requirements for each project
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas to the team
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Work with copywriters, photographers and managers to produce final designs
- Test graphics across various media
- Edit, iterate and present final designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Manage individual tasks, projects and workflows for timely completion of milestones
YOU WOULD BE A GOOD FIT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:
- 3-5 years experience as a brand/graphic designer in a relevant industry
- A strong portfolio of graphics, illustrations and other works
- Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Basic knowledge in design tools such as Figma, Webflow and Sketch
- Excellent written/verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
