OUR STORY
In 2015, our CEO Ashley Wong Tsui started Gemnote with one simple idea: to make it easier for businesses to appreciate their clients and employees with high-quality custom gifts (or swag).

EARLY DAYS
OUR STORY
As one of the only female, non-technical and solo founder teams, she was accepted into YC, the most well-known startup incubator in the world. During the 10 week program, she grew Gemnote’s revenue 20% WoW, onboarding early customers like Airbnb, Box and Google.

Y COMBINATOR
OUR STORY
As the company grew, AWT knew she couldn’t do it alone. She brought on her childhood best friend, Diane Liu, to serve as co-founder and COO. The duo set their sights on the promo sector, discovering new ways to design, create and ship custom products at scale.
